In this era of generative AI, I believed there should occur a device that continuously records daily life and automatically extracts highlights. I have been searching for it and finally found Looki L1, guided by ChatGPT.

I decided to purchase it because its concept aligned with my ideas, but actually the specs such as a size, image quality, and battery exceeded my expectations. Several moments of my day are turned into illustrations in various styles. There are occasional misrecognitions, but it’s sufficient for reminiscing or surprising friends. The Japanese language handling is also satisfactory. I see potential in the chat function and plan to use it in the future.

If Looki becomes much more widespread, it may raise social issues in some countries and regions. While it’s essentially like a smartphone, many people feel uneasy with a camera lens pointed at them. Users must respect others’ privacy and public rules, such as removing the device when not in use and explaining it to others. Accessories that indicate non-operation will likely be in demand.

From a system perspective, the captured information is highly sensitive. I hope the product will thoroughly adhere to a security-first approach to protect myself, family, and surrounding people from external eyes.

After some issues with logistics and poor communications from the delivery company I received the device about a week ago. Understanding how best to use the device, and incorporate it into my every day life has taken time but I am very happy with where I am at with it now. A great companion, counselor and of course a window onto every aspect of my life that I care to share with Lio. Amazing!

Love it Love it Love it. I have to get a clip so I can clip it on my dashboard of my car. I’m still learning it. It hasn’t been a week yet. But I think I’m liking this more the AI glasses

The app makes it easy to revisit memories, generate highlights, and even search past events without having to manually record everything. The Looki L1 is amazing, I love the recaps, the comic pics , the comic pages and the videos of my day, in fact everything about this is so cool.
Since my purchase there is only one day I didn't use it as I was going to be in a casino all day playing poker and recording would not be allowed.
I would recommend the Looki to anyone.

Looki is a great product! The daily reminders and continuous memory of your previous days which provides informative analysis of your activity and food habits, with encouragement to be active/eat well, are a pleasant surprise. Battery life pretty good depending on the settings you select.

The image styles are the best thing though, with a variety of abstracted interpretations - so privacy is maintained and you have fun content for sharing!

Only downside is the app maturity - the chat could be more integrated with the push notifications so you can have more of a dialogue going with Looki. And it would also be great to have viewable/editing knowledge about you so you can easily correct names/descriptions without relying on chat.

Keep up the good work, this will be an amazing product with some minor improvements!

So far so good with the device! But...the device listening function can't understand Chinese at all..English no problem... Hopefully this can be update in the future.

Great and funny

Yesterday, a Dot officer wanted to tell me I didn't do my pre-trip inspection. Of course, I shows him the video from my looki and that settled that. Thanks for getting me out of a ticket.

It represents the current pinnacle of life-logging—simply put, it is magnificent.

I love my Looki! It took it a little while to get to know me, but even during that time the insights it provided were invaluable! This AI is very understanding and respectful, it does it's best to understand you and your activities. I have read complaints about this being a 'Big Brother' kind of device and I couldn't disagree more. As an Honorably discharged USAF VET, I can assure you that we have many worse things to worry about. AND the fact that it works so well, while keeping your information private and with NO MONTHLY FEES, like the other CLOWNS, makes my Looki truly invaluable. They down play the comic book stories when it's actually SO MUCH MORE. But the Comic Book updates are wonderful, fun and insightful!

So far, just the little videos it's thrown together of me and my daughter have made this little 199$ device worth it. The ai features aren't super advanced, idk what model they use but it does take a bit to respond. I've noticed, the longer your question or comment, the quicker it actually answers. If you ask it short questions it tends to take awhile to respond or reply.

Most of the little things can be fixed in future software updates etc. every stops and asks me what it is, if it's the thing from reels etc. I used the little kid sticker, to make it.. less techy looking.

I’m satisfied with the product overall. However, I still need to buy the protective case, but unfortunately it’s currently out of stock.

Love it! Very useful! I used for my personal safety protection when I go out without having my phone recording all the time.
