Looki Affiliate Policy
Effective Date: [2026.9.10]
Version: 1.0
1. Purpose and Scope
This Affiliate Program Compliance Policy (“Policy”) sets out the requirements applicable to all publishers, affiliates, sub-affiliates, affiliate networks, subnetworks, and other partners participating in or generating traffic through the Looki Affiliate Program (collectively, “Publishers”).
By participating in the Looki Affiliate Program, Publishers agree to comply with this Policy, the terms and conditions of the applicable affiliate network, and any written instructions or guidelines issued by Looki from time to time.
Where this Policy conflicts with applicable affiliate network terms regarding brand protection, promotional practices, or compliance matters, this Policy will prevail to the extent permitted by applicable law.
Publishers are responsible for ensuring that their employees, contractors, sub-affiliates, traffic sources, agencies, and any other parties acting on their behalf comply with this Policy.
Looki reserves the right to review, investigate, restrict, suspend, or terminate affiliate activity that does not comply with these requirements.
2. Brand Assets and Intellectual Property
2.1 Authorized Brand Materials
Publishers may only use Looki logos, product images, videos, graphics, copy, banners, creative materials, and other brand assets that have been directly provided or expressly approved by Looki, including materials made available through the applicable affiliate network or other designated Looki asset repositories.
Publishers must:
-
use the most current approved version of all Looki brand materials;
-
comply with Looki's applicable brand guidelines; and
-
discontinue, remove, or replace any asset upon Looki's request.
Unless expressly authorized in writing by Looki, Publishers may not materially modify, distort, recolor, redesign, recreate, or otherwise alter Looki trademarks, logos, or other brand assets.
Outdated, self-created, misleading, or unauthorized Looki brand materials may not be used.
All Looki trademarks, logos, product names, and brand assets remain the exclusive property of Looki. Participation in the Looki Affiliate Program grants Publishers only a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, and non-transferable permission to use approved assets for authorized affiliate promotion.
2.2 Co-Branding and Misrepresentation
Publishers must not use Looki branding in a way that suggests an official partnership, endorsement, certification, joint ownership, or formal commercial relationship beyond participation in the Looki Affiliate Program.
Without prior written approval from Looki, Publishers may not:
-
place Looki branding alongside Publisher branding in a manner suggesting an official partnership;
-
merge, overlap, interlock, or visually combine Looki branding with another brand;
-
create joint trademarks, certification marks, or similar branding; or
-
use expressions such as “Official Partner,” “Official Looki Partner,” “Looki Certified,” “Strategic Partner,” “Official Collaboration,” or similar terminology implying formal endorsement.
3. Publisher Identity and Brand Impersonation
Publishers must maintain a clear distinction between their own properties and official Looki websites, accounts, communications, advertisements, and sales channels.
Publishers must not impersonate Looki or create the impression that a Publisher-owned property is owned, operated, sponsored, endorsed, or officially managed by Looki.
Prohibited conduct includes, without limitation:
-
copying or materially imitating the design, layout, branding, or user experience of an official Looki website;
-
creating websites, landing pages, social media profiles, usernames, handles, or other digital properties that could reasonably be mistaken for official Looki properties;
-
registering, purchasing, using, or controlling domains, subdomains, URLs, social handles, or account names containing “Looki,” Looki trademarks, misspellings, typographical variations, or confusingly similar terms;
-
representing oneself as Looki customer support, an authorized Looki representative, or an official Looki sales channel without written authorization; or
-
engaging in domain squatting, passing off, brand impersonation, or deceptive brand representation.
Upon Looki's request, Publishers must promptly stop using any domain, subdomain, URL, social media handle, account name, or other digital property that violates this Section.
Looki reserves all rights and remedies relating to trademark infringement, domain disputes, platform takedown requests, and other forms of brand impersonation.
4. Paid Search and Advertising
4.1 Brand Keyword Bidding
Unless Looki has provided prior written approval, Publishers may not bid on, purchase, target, or otherwise use Looki-branded terms in paid search, search advertising, sponsored listings, paid shopping placements, or similar advertising activities.
Restricted terms include, without limitation:
-
“Looki”;
-
Looki product names;
-
Looki trademarks;
-
Looki URLs or domain names, including “looki.ai”;
-
misspellings, abbreviations, typographical variations, or confusingly similar versions of Looki-branded terms; and
-
combinations of Looki-branded terms with commercial or promotional terms such as “coupon,” “coupon code,” “promo code,” “discount,” “deal,” “sale,” “offer,” “official,” or similar terms.
Publishers may not use Looki URLs, domains, trademarks, or confusingly similar variations in:
-
display URLs;
-
destination URLs;
-
advertisement headlines;
-
advertisement copy;
-
keyword sets; or
-
other paid advertising elements
in a manner that impersonates Looki or creates the impression that the advertisement was placed directly by Looki.
4.2 Paid Campaign Approval
Any paid advertising campaign using Looki trademarks, brand assets, product images, brand-related messaging, or Looki-branded keywords requires prior written approval from Looki unless Looki expressly confirms otherwise.
Approval for one campaign, advertising channel, creative, market, keyword set, or promotional period does not constitute approval for another campaign or future activity.
5. Promotional Codes, Coupons, Discounts, and Offers
Publishers may only advertise promotional codes, coupons, discounts, offers, or other promotional benefits that have been directly provided or expressly authorized by Looki for that specific Publisher.
Publishers must not:
-
promote coupon or promotional codes obtained from another Publisher, affiliate, website, consumer, social media account, third-party database, coupon aggregator, browser extension, or other unauthorized source;
-
promote expired, discontinued, private, employee-only, influencer-only, customer-service, targeted, or otherwise restricted codes unless expressly authorized by Looki;
-
publish codes assigned to another Publisher, influencer, commercial partner, or marketing channel;
-
modify, invent, guess, generate, or scrape promotional codes;
-
represent an offer as “exclusive” unless Looki has expressly confirmed that the offer is exclusive to that Publisher;
-
advertise inaccurate discount values;
-
advertise expired promotions as active; or
-
advertise promotions, discounts, or offers that are not currently available or officially authorized by Looki.
The fact that a promotional code successfully works during checkout does not constitute authorization for a Publisher to advertise that code.
Looki may request the immediate removal, correction, or replacement of unauthorized, inaccurate, misleading, or expired promotional information.
6. Traffic and Promotional Practices
Publishers must market Looki in a fair, transparent, lawful, and non-deceptive manner.
The following practices are prohibited:
-
cookie stuffing;
-
forced clicks;
-
forced redirects;
-
traffic hijacking;
-
deceptive redirects;
-
adware, malware, spyware, or malicious software;
-
misleading price comparisons;
-
fabricated urgency or false scarcity;
-
unauthorized pop-ups, overlays, or affiliate-link injection;
-
interception, overwriting, or replacement of another affiliate's tracking;
-
misleading claims regarding pricing, discounts, product availability, product performance, or promotions;
-
automatic activation of affiliate tracking without meaningful user intent;
-
unsolicited bulk email, SMS, or direct messages;
-
email or messaging campaigns that violate applicable anti-spam or privacy laws;
-
communications using names, addresses, domains, subject lines, or branding that misleadingly suggest the communication was sent directly by Looki; and
-
any practice intended to manipulate attribution or generate commissions without genuine customer engagement.
7. Restricted Publisher Types and Technologies
Unless expressly approved in writing by Looki, the following Publisher types, technologies, and promotional methods may not generate traffic or commissions for the Looki Affiliate Program:
-
browser extensions;
-
browser toolbars;
-
downloadable software that injects, replaces, redirects, or modifies affiliate links;
-
adware or similar applications;
-
software or applications that automatically activate affiliate tracking;
-
applications or technologies that automatically apply coupon codes without clear and intentional user action;
-
shopping assistants or client-side technologies that interfere with Looki's website, checkout process, tracking, attribution, or another Publisher's referral; and
-
any other technology Looki reasonably determines may interfere with legitimate affiliate attribution.
Publishers operating both traditional web properties and browser extensions, browser toolbars, downloadable software, shopping assistants, or similar technologies may promote Looki only through properties expressly approved by Looki.
Approval of a Publisher, website, media property, or affiliate account does not constitute approval of any browser extension, toolbar, application, downloadable software, or other technology operated by that Publisher.
Unless expressly approved otherwise in writing, Looki-owned domains must be permanently suppressed or placed in stand-down status within any browser extension, toolbar, downloadable software, shopping assistant, or similar technology operated by the Publisher.
8. Sub-Affiliates and Subnetworks
Publishers operating a subnetwork or working with sub-affiliates must maintain appropriate oversight of all participating sub-publishers, promotional properties, and traffic sources.
The primary Publisher is responsible for the conduct of its sub-affiliates and must ensure compliance with this Policy.
Sub-affiliates may not:
-
represent themselves as Looki or as an official Looki representative;
-
contact influencers, media organizations, publishers, commercial partners, or potential partners in Looki's name without authorization;
-
engage in any activity prohibited under this Policy;
-
use undisclosed traffic sources;
-
conduct unauthorized paid search activity; or
-
use a subnetwork or sub-affiliate structure to circumvent Publisher-type, traffic-source, promotional, geographic, or technology restrictions imposed by Looki.
Upon request, Publishers must provide Looki with sufficient information to identify relevant sub-affiliates, promotional properties, websites, applications, and traffic sources.
Looki reserves the right to prohibit specific sub-affiliates, websites, applications, technologies, or traffic sources at its discretion.
9. Content Standards
All Publisher content concerning Looki must be truthful, accurate, current, and consistent with Looki's approved product information and marketing communications.
Publishers must not:
-
make false, misleading, or materially exaggerated claims regarding Looki products or services;
-
fabricate testimonials, ratings, reviews, certifications, endorsements, awards, or customer experiences;
-
make unauthorized medical, health, regulatory, scientific, or performance claims;
-
create fictitious promotions, discounts, countdown timers, scarcity claims, or limited-time offers;
-
publish misleading pricing, shipping, stock, or product-availability information;
-
misrepresent product capabilities, features, specifications, or intended use;
-
imply that Looki guarantees outcomes not explicitly confirmed by Looki; or
-
use unlawful, discriminatory, offensive, or otherwise inappropriate content in connection with Looki.
Publishers must promptly update, correct, or remove content that Looki identifies as inaccurate, outdated, misleading, unauthorized, or otherwise non-compliant.
10. Restricted Content and Placements
Looki promotions may not be displayed on, adjacent to, or associated with websites, applications, accounts, content, or properties involving:
-
pornography or sexually explicit adult content;
-
unlawful gambling;
-
illegal drugs or controlled substances;
-
illegal products or services;
-
hate, discrimination, violence, or unlawful activity;
-
deceptive or fraudulent activity; or
-
any other environment that Looki reasonably determines may create legal, regulatory, reputational, consumer-protection, or brand-safety risks.
Publishers must comply with applicable advertising, privacy, consumer-protection, disclosure, data-protection, marketing, and other laws and regulations in every jurisdiction in which they operate.
11. Geographic and Market Restrictions
Publishers may promote Looki only in countries, regions, markets, and sales channels that are expressly authorized by Looki.
Unless otherwise approved in writing by Looki, Publishers must not:
-
actively target, advertise to, or solicit customers in any country, region, or market where Looki products or services are not officially offered, supported, or authorized for promotion;
-
promote Looki in any jurisdiction subject to applicable sanctions, export controls, trade restrictions, or other legal restrictions that would make the relevant marketing, sale, shipment, provision, or use of Looki products or services unlawful or restricted;
-
use geo-targeted advertising, localized landing pages, local-language campaigns, local promotional codes, or similar methods to target a restricted or unauthorized market; or
-
represent that Looki products, services, subscriptions, cloud functions, AI functions, or other features are available in a country or region where such availability has not been confirmed by Looki.
Publishers must comply with any geographic, territorial, channel, product, or audience restrictions communicated by Looki from time to time.
Looki may require Publishers to suspend or remove promotions targeting specific countries, regions, markets, or customer groups where Looki reasonably determines that legal, regulatory, operational, sanctions, export-control, product-availability, or reputational risks exist.
12. Disclosure Requirements
Publishers must clearly and conspicuously disclose their affiliate relationship with Looki wherever required by applicable laws, regulations, platform policies, or advertising standards.
Affiliate disclosures must be sufficiently visible and understandable to consumers.
Disclosures must not be:
-
hidden;
-
obscured;
-
placed where users are unlikely to see them;
-
presented only after a user interacts with an affiliate link; or
-
worded in a misleading or ambiguous manner.
Publishers are responsible for complying with the disclosure requirements applicable to their jurisdiction and promotional channel.
13. Confidential and Non-Public Information
Publishers may receive non-public information from Looki in connection with the Affiliate Program, including information concerning upcoming products, product launches, pricing, promotions, discount codes, campaign plans, marketing materials, sales performance, partner arrangements, commercial terms, or other business information.
Publishers must not disclose, publish, distribute, use, or exploit any such information before it has been publicly released or expressly approved for use by Looki.
In particular, Publishers must not:
-
disclose or promote embargoed or unreleased products, features, pricing, promotions, or launch information;
-
share private, restricted, partner-specific, employee-only, influencer-only, or unpublished promotional codes;
-
use non-public information to register domains, social media accounts, advertising keywords, promotional pages, or other digital properties;
-
use non-public information for any purpose unrelated to authorized participation in the Looki Affiliate Program; or
-
provide non-public Looki information to third parties, including sub-affiliates, unless such disclosure is necessary for authorized program activities and the recipient is subject to equivalent confidentiality obligations.
Upon Looki's request, Publishers must promptly cease using, return, delete, or destroy non-public information and materials, except where retention is required by applicable law.
These obligations survive suspension or termination of participation in the Looki Affiliate Program.
14. Compliance Reviews and Cooperation
Looki may monitor Publisher websites, traffic sources, advertisements, promotional content, coupon listings, social media accounts, affiliate links, and other affiliate activities for compliance purposes.
Publishers must reasonably cooperate with Looki's compliance investigations and provide requested information concerning:
-
traffic sources;
-
promotional methods;
-
sub-affiliates;
-
websites and applications;
-
paid advertising campaigns;
-
coupon distribution;
-
traffic acquisition practices; and
-
other relevant affiliate activities.
Looki may require Publishers to immediately modify, suspend, correct, or remove non-compliant activity or content.
Failure to comply with a remediation request may constitute an additional violation of this Policy.
Upon Looki's request, Publishers operating browser extensions, downloadable software, shopping assistants, or similar technologies must provide reasonable evidence demonstrating that Looki-owned domains have been suppressed from those technologies.
Such evidence may include extension names, extension IDs, media properties, domain suppression settings, traffic-source identifiers, and other information reasonably requested by Looki.
15. Violations and Enforcement
Violation of this Policy or any applicable Looki Affiliate Program terms may result in enforcement action.
Depending on the nature, severity, frequency, intent, and impact of the violation, Looki may take one or more of the following actions:
-
request immediate correction or removal of non-compliant content;
-
suspend specific campaigns, links, promotional codes, websites, applications, or traffic sources;
-
reject or invalidate transactions;
-
withhold commissions;
-
cancel or reverse commissions;
-
recover commissions previously paid in connection with non-compliant activity;
-
suspend the Publisher from the Looki Affiliate Program;
-
permanently remove or terminate the Publisher from the Looki Affiliate Program;
-
prohibit specific sub-affiliates, websites, applications, technologies, promotional methods, or traffic sources; and
-
take any other reasonable action necessary to protect Looki, its customers, or the integrity of the Affiliate Program.
Looki reserves the right to reverse commissions and remove any Publisher found to be in breach of the Looki Affiliate Program terms or this Policy.
Serious violations may result in immediate suspension or termination without prior warning.
Serious violations include, without limitation:
-
fraud;
-
brand impersonation;
-
unauthorized brand keyword bidding;
-
intentional attribution manipulation;
-
cookie stuffing;
-
traffic hijacking;
-
unauthorized browser-extension activity;
-
intentionally misleading promotions; and
-
repeated or deliberate non-compliance.
Termination does not prevent Looki from withholding, rejecting, or reversing commissions attributable to activity occurring before termination if such activity violated applicable program requirements.
Transactions generated, influenced, intercepted, or attributed through prohibited browser extensions, toolbars, downloadable software, or other client-side technologies may be rejected, invalidated, or reversed.
Looki may also report violations to the applicable affiliate network, advertising platform, hosting provider, domain registrar, technology provider, or relevant authority where appropriate.
16. Third-Party Promotions Disclaimer
Looki does not control and assumes no responsibility for promotional information published by unauthorized third-party websites, applications, accounts, browser extensions, or other services.
Coupon codes, discounts, promotional offers, pricing, or other information displayed by unauthorized third parties may be inaccurate, expired, misleading, restricted, or unauthorized.
Such information does not constitute a binding offer from Looki unless confirmed through an official Looki channel.
Looki is not responsible for loss, inconvenience, or damage resulting from reliance on unauthorized third-party promotional information, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
17. Changes to This Policy
Looki may amend, replace, or update this Policy from time to time.
Publishers are responsible for reviewing and complying with the current version of this Policy as well as any additional requirements communicated by Looki or through the applicable affiliate network.
Continued participation in the Looki Affiliate Program following an update constitutes acceptance of the updated requirements, subject to applicable law and applicable platform terms.
