Looki Cookie Policy
Last updated: [2026.10.27]
This Cookie Policy explains how Looki Tech Limited (“Looki,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) uses cookies and similar technologies when you visit our website and online store at https://www.looki.ai (the “Website”).
This Cookie Policy applies to the Website and online store. The Looki mobile application, wearable device, cloud services, and other products may use SDKs, local storage, device identifiers, or other technologies and are described separately in our Privacy Policy.
1. What are cookies and similar technologies?
Cookies are small text files stored on your browser or device when you visit a website. Cookies can help a website operate securely, remember your preferences, understand how visitors use the website, measure advertising or marketing performance, and attribute visits or purchases to campaigns, affiliates, or referral partners.
We may also use similar technologies, including pixels, tags, scripts, local storage, software development kits, advertising identifiers, device identifiers, and browser- or server-based event technologies. In this Cookie Policy, we refer to cookies and these similar technologies together as “cookies.”
Cookies may be:
- First-party cookies, which are set by Looki or through our Website domain; or
- Third-party cookies, which are set or accessed by service providers and business partners that support our Website, analytics, advertising, marketing, or affiliate programs.
Cookies may also be temporary session cookies, which generally expire when you close your browser, or persistent cookies, which remain for a defined period or until deleted.
2. Types of cookies we use
2.1 Strictly necessary cookies
These cookies are necessary for the Website and online store to operate and for you to use services that you have requested. They support functions such as:
- page navigation and Website security;
- shopping cart and checkout;
- payment processing and order administration;
- fraud prevention and account security;
- load balancing, error prevention, and service availability; and
- recording and respecting your privacy choices.
Because these cookies are necessary to provide the Website and online store, they cannot be disabled through our cookie preference tool. You may be able to block them through your browser, but parts of the Website, cart, checkout, or account features may then stop working correctly.
2.2 Functional and preference cookies
These cookies allow the Website to remember choices such as language, country or region, display preferences, and other settings that improve your experience. If you disable these cookies, some enhanced or personalized Website functions may not work as intended.
2.3 Analytics and performance cookies
These cookies help us understand how visitors reach and use the Website, measure traffic and performance, identify errors, understand navigation and conversion paths, and improve our Website and online store.
These technologies may include Shopify analytics features, Google Analytics, and other similar services that we use from time to time.
Where consent is required by law, we use analytics and performance cookies only after you have consented to them.
2.4 Advertising and marketing cookies
These cookies and similar technologies may help us:
- measure the performance of advertisements and marketing campaigns;
- understand whether an advertisement or campaign led to a Website visit, cart activity, checkout, or purchase;
- prevent excessive or repetitive advertising;
- create or measure advertising audiences;
- support retargeting or interest-based advertising; and
- improve campaign delivery and effectiveness.
These technologies may be provided by services such as Google Ads, Meta, TikTok, Klaviyo, Shopify advertising services, or other advertising and marketing partners that we use from time to time.
Where consent is required by law, we use advertising and marketing cookies only after you have consented to them.
2.5 Affiliate and referral tracking cookies
We may use affiliate or referral tracking technologies to determine whether a Website visit or purchase was referred by an affiliate, creator, influencer, publisher, partner, promotional code, or campaign link. These technologies help us measure campaign performance, prevent duplicate or fraudulent attribution, and calculate affiliate or referral commissions.
Where consent is required by law, we use non-essential affiliate and referral tracking cookies only after you have consented to them. If cookies are unavailable or declined, we may use other permitted attribution methods, such as a creator’s unique promotional code or first-party order records.
3. Information collected through cookies
Depending on the technology and your choices, cookies may collect or generate information such as:
- IP address and approximate location derived from IP;
- browser type, operating system, device type, language, and technical identifiers;
- pages viewed, links clicked, search activity, and timestamps;
- referring website, campaign, advertisement, UTM parameters, or affiliate source;
- product views, cart activity, checkout activity, purchases, order value, and transaction identifiers;
- consent and privacy preference status; and
- advertising or platform identifiers.
Where enabled and permitted, certain advertising tools may use hashed or otherwise protected identifiers, such as an email address or phone number, to match Website events with an account on an advertising platform, measure conversions, or support advertising audiences. Hashing is a security measure and does not necessarily make the information anonymous.
4. Services and partners we currently use
Based on our current Website configuration, we may use the following types of services. The precise services and settings may change as our Website and marketing operations develop.

5. Cookies and your private Looki content
We do not use the photos, videos, audio, notes, memories, journals, vlogs, comics, or other personal content that you upload to, capture through, or generate with Looki products and services for advertising or marketing targeting.
Website cookies, pixels, tags, scripts, and similar technologies relate to your interactions with the Website and online store, such as Website visits, product views, cart activity, checkout, purchases, campaign measurement, and affiliate or referral attribution. They are not used to target advertising based on your private Looki content.
6. Your choices in the EEA, United Kingdom, Switzerland, and similar regions
If you are located in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, Switzerland, or another region where consent is required, we will ask for your consent before using non-essential cookies for analytics, advertising, marketing, affiliate tracking, or similar purposes.
You can:
- accept all cookies;
- reject non-essential cookies; or
- manage your choices by cookie category.
Strictly necessary cookies remain active because they are required to provide the Website and services that you request.
You may change or withdraw your choices at any time by selecting Cookie Preferences in the Website footer. Withdrawing consent will not affect the lawfulness of processing that occurred before withdrawal, but the relevant non-essential technologies should stop or become restricted after your choice is processed.
7. Your U.S. privacy choices
Certain disclosures of Website interaction information to advertising, analytics, marketing, or affiliate partners may be considered a “sale,” “sharing,” “targeted advertising,” or “cross-context behavioral advertising” under some U.S. state privacy laws, even if Looki does not receive money in exchange for the information.
Eligible residents may opt out by selecting Your Privacy Choices or Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information in the Website footer and using the control on that page.
Where required by applicable law, we also recognize legally valid browser-based opt-out preference signals, such as Global Privacy Control (“GPC”), as a request to opt out for the browser and device used to visit the Website.
For more information, see our Privacy Policy and Your Privacy Choices page.
8. Browser and device controls
You may also use your browser settings to block or delete cookies. Browser settings operate separately from the choices offered by our Website. Blocking all cookies may prevent the Website, cart, checkout, account, or security features from functioning correctly.
Your Website privacy choice is generally browser- and device-specific. If you clear cookies, use another browser or device, use a privacy mode, or reset browser storage, you may need to make your choice again.
9. International processing
Our service providers and partners may process information collected through cookies in countries other than the country in which you live, including Canada, the United States, the European Economic Area, and other locations in which they or their service providers operate.
Where required by applicable law, we use appropriate safeguards for international transfers, as described in our Privacy Policy.
10. Retention
The duration of a cookie depends on its purpose and configuration. Session cookies generally expire when you close your browser. Persistent cookies remain until their stated expiry date, until you delete them, or until they are replaced.
We will retain personal information generated through cookies only for as long as necessary for the relevant purpose, subject to legal, accounting, fraud-prevention, dispute-resolution, and security requirements. Third-party providers may apply their own retention periods as described in their privacy documentation and our contracts or account settings.
11. Changes to this Cookie Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy to reflect changes in law, technology, the cookies we use, our service providers, or our business practices. We will update the “Last updated” date when we make changes. Where required, we will provide additional notice or request consent again.
