Looki is a multimodal wearable device designed to effortlessly document your life. In AI Mode, which automatically detects and captures your highlight moments, the battery lasts up to 12 hours. For continuous audio or video recording, the battery life is 1 to 3 hours. Therefore, we highly recommend keeping Looki in AI Mode by default to ensure the best experience and the highest quality captures.

You are always in the driver's seat. Looki offers multiple modes to suit your privacy needs.Our signature AI Mode intelligently detects "highlights" worth saving, so you don't have to reach for your phone. If Looki captures something you'd rather keep private, you can effortlessly review and delete any footage directly in the app.

The product concept is very good but it seems it still need a lot of improvement especially on the voice recognition function.

Overall, I really like the Looki L1 and see a huge amount of potential in it, even though it is still quite buggy and clearly needs further development.

The battery life was about what I expected. It’s a little short, but it lasts just long enough to get through a typical day.

My biggest disappointment is language support. The device doesn’t understand spoken Finnish, but it can reply in Finnish, and it also understands written Finnish without any issues.

The AI occasionally makes incorrect assumptions. For example, I walked past my air fryer at night while its display showed 190°C, and Looki concluded that I had cooked food and gave me feedback about late-night eating. Similarly, in a grocery store, simply picking up a product was interpreted as if I had actually purchased and taken it with me.

It has also produced some very strange interpretations and predictions. A few times it even generated comic strips or comments about completely unrelated topics.

The AI button is a bit too sensitive, as even a light touch can trigger it.

The magnetic attachment could be stronger, especially when attaching the device through clothing. When hanging outside of clothing, however, the device tends to bounce around while walking. Fortunately, I also bought the Go Clip, which helps.

I’d also love more transparency and control over features like the automatic comics and vlogs. It would be great to know how and when they’re generated, have settings to customize them, and even influence the content they create.

Despite its current limitations, I absolutely love the device. It already feels like a glimpse of the future, and I’m excited to see how much better it can become with future updates.

I wish I would’ve ordered the looki sooner to take on my vacation. So far it’s a great little gadget. I look forward to learning how to use it more efficiently one of the documents that came with. It said not to wet it but now I read that it is IP 67 rated can someone confirm this please.
