Discover the New Journal Experience in Looki App 2.2.1

The Looki app has been updated to version 2.2.1. This release introduces a redesigned journal experience that makes it easier to revisit your day, browse recorded moments, and interact with the content Looki creates for you.

In this guide, we'll walk you through what has changed, how to update the Looki app, and how to use the new Journal features.

What’s new in Looki App 2.2.1

The Journal section has received a major interface update, including:

• The former For You section is now part of the Journal
• A cleaner timeline with the time displayed on the left and content on the right
• Smoother scrolling through your daily records
• Improved detail pages for viewing and managing comics
• Full-text views for content such as Yesterday’s Review and Discussion Summary

Together, these changes bring your daily moments, reflections, images, and summaries into one continuous experience.

1. For You is now part of Journal

The content previously found under For You is now included in Journal, so your recorded moments and personalized content live in the same place.

1. Open Looki and tap Journal, the orange tab on the far left of the bottom navigation bar.
2. Scroll to explore your entries and personalized content.
3. Use sections such as Today and Yesterday to move between current activity and earlier moments.

2. Browse your day on a clearer timeline

Journal now places the time of each entry on the left and its text, image, or summary on the right. In the screenshot below, times mark the order of the entries.

1. Swipe up or down to move through the timeline.
2. Check the time on the left to see when each entry was recorded.
3. Tap an image, review, or summary card to see full content.

The updated scrolling makes it easier to move through several entries while keeping their sequence clear. Text, images, reviews, and discussion summaries all appear in the same timeline.

3. View and manage comics more easily

You can now show or hide captions on your photos and edit the text on Looki Comics before sharing. You can also share feedback on the art style to help Looki better understand your taste.

1. Tap a Comic in Journal to open its detail page.
2. Use the Download or Share icon in the top-right corner.
3. Tap More (···) to select Like or Dislike, show or hide Text on Poster, edit the caption, or delete the Comic.
4. After editing, tap the checkmark to save your changes.

4. Open full reviews and summaries

Daily Insights and Recaps now open in full, with options to edit, share, and tell Looki what you want to see more or less often.

1. Tap a Daily Insight or Recap card in Journal to open the full content.
2. Tap the Share icon to share it.
3. Select More often or Less often to tell Looki whether you want to see more content in this style.
4. Tap More (···) to choose Like or Dislike, edit the content.

You can get Looki 2.2.1 in either of these ways:

1. Update through your app store. Search for Looki in the Apple App Store or Google Play Store, then tap Update.
2. Download it from Looki. Visit the official Looki app download page to find the download option for your device.
