Create Comics From Your Moments in Looki Chat

Your everyday moments can now become comics whenever you choose. Create Comics is a new feature in Looki Chat that lets you select the images behind the story, choose a visual style, and generate a comic page inside your conversation with Looki AI.

We also heard from users who wanted to create Comics with photos they had taken themselves or saved in their phone’s photo library. The new creation flow supports those images alongside Looki Moments, so more of the memories that matter to you can become part of a Comic.

Each day, you receive three comic generation credits. That gives you three opportunities to turn a single scene or a sequence of up to eight images into a comic.

Create a Comic Right From Chat

Create Comics lives in Looki AI, alongside Create Vlogs. Starting in Chat keeps the experience simple and gives each generation a clear place to appear when it is ready.

1. Open the Looki App and tap 「Chat」.
2. Open your conversation with 「Looki AI」.
3. Tap the + button.
4. Select Create Comics.

Looki then takes you through two decisions: which images to use and which comic style to apply. 

Choose the Moments Behind the Story

The Select Media gives you three ways to begin:

• Moments: Choose memories already available in Looki.
• Photos: Select pictures from your phone’s photo library.
• Camera: Take a new photo to use in the Comic.

Moments keeps Create Comics connected to the experiences captured with Looki L1. You can return to part of your day and decide that it deserves a different form, whether that is a meal, a walk, time with friends, or another small event you want to see as a visual story.

Photos and cameras extend that creative choice. If part of the experience lives on your phone rather than in Looki, you can still use it as the source for a Comic. This is the update users asked for: personal photos can now enter the same creation flow without first being a Looki Moment.

Use One Image or Build a Multi-Panel Comic

You can select up to eight images for each Comic. Use one image for a single-panel Comic, or choose between two and eight images for multiple panels. The counter shows how many images you have selected, and you can remove any image before tapping 「Next」.

Pick a Style and Let Looki Create

Preview the available styles, tap the one you prefer, and start create comic.

Each comic uses one comic credit. Looki begins creating the Comic in your Looki AI conversation, and the finished page appears in Chat when it is ready. With three comic credits available each day, you can create three comics.

The finished Comic is sent directly to your 「Looki AI」 conversation. Tap the Comic to download it. Comics created through Chat do not appear in Journal, so you can return to the Looki AI conversation whenever you want to find them again.

Looki uses captured moments to help you return to everyday experiences in different forms. Daily Comics can offer an automatic visual reflection, while Create Comics gives you the choice to decide which images should become the next story.

Comics are one way to preserve an experience. When a memory is better told through movement and a longer sequence, Create Vlog gives you more control over the video story. Both features begin in Chat and help you shape the moments you want to revisit.
